Scientists recently
mapped the entire DNA sequence of Yersinia Pestis, the bacteria responsible
for the Black Death in the Middle Ages. A local
copy of the DNA sequence in PDF
format is available - be sure to zoom in to check out the maximum possible
level of detail (down to individual nucleotide bases). Note: this file is
370 Kb in size and may take some time to download on slower connections. [02]

On-Topic
The following websites
were invaluable sources during our research:
Off-Topic
Being UCLA
students, we can't help but spend at least 80% of our free time on the computer.
Here are some other sites we recommend that aren't anywhere close to being
on-topic.
- Fark
- It's how we get news.
- Slashdot
- "News for Nerds, Stuff that Matters."
- Google
- The best search engine, ever. We can't recall how much it has helped us
with this project and other stuff too.
- The
Onion - If you haven't been to this website, you haven't truly lived.
- GameSpot
- Some of us are addicted to games. We know we need help, but we'd rather
go here and get my fix.
